bigHead fasteners from the English company of the same name are available in over 400 standard versions.

Due to their versatility, bigHeads can either be surface-mounted with adhesive or completely embedded. Customers in automotive, marine and mechanical engineering and the furniture industry can draw on a wide range of alternatives to conventional fastening technologies.

The flexibility gained arises from the construction of a bigHead:

On a base plate (head), any attachment points - such as pins, nails, nuts, threads, hooks, etc. – are attached to the head via a weld point. Thus the fasteners can be integrated "invisibly" into many plastic components and composites. Furthermore no holes such as in conventional fasteners are required that can result in an impairment of the component strength.
