PEM® GhostTM is a true innovation and the essence of a perfect connection: secure, easy to disassemble for authorized personnel and yet completely invisible. This is made possible by a concealed pinch-lock, which is combined with a magnetic opening mechanism. In this way, there is no visible evidence of disassembly when connected.
PEM® Ghost™: Invisible connection technology
How it works
The fastening connection consists of a male and a female part, which are pressed into the two elements that are to be connected, using the proven self-clinching technology. Locking is achieved by bringing the two mating parts together and engaging the fastener's pin in the socket.
This connection is completely concealed and can only be released with the appropriate magnetic release tool. The tool is individually manufactured for the respective application. Only with this tool is it possible to unlock all installed PEM® GhostTM fasteners at the same time so that the components can be unfastened from each other.
Like the unlocking tool, the PEM® GhostTM fasteners can be customized for the specific application.
Aesthetics and access control
Because the fasteners are completely concealed and therefore invisible, entirely new design possibilities arise. In addition, many manufacturers do not want their products to be opened without authorization. Since there is no visible access point with PEM® GhostTM , this issue is prevented.
